Removed dust spots and noise

I only removed the few dust spots visible from the lower left corner and upper right corner and ran the image through NeatImage for a silier look of the mist.

Nothing much done, only adjusting curves (like shown in the graph) to brighten the image a bit:

1. Lock the midtones to "normal"
2. Lift the bright tones a tad (visual inspection)
3. The dark tones will automatically darken, adjust manually if needed

I picked up one of the old pufballs and held it in one hand while taking the picture with the other hand, so you can have an approximation of its size. An it was not the biggest one I saw this day...

Here I was kneeling just under the bats, I was very close, and each time one of them moved I was afraid it would fall on my face ! :-) It was a bit scary, even if I love those animals. But it was a great moment for me...

Hi Valerie

I just did a number of small optimization adjustments to bring out the colour and to increase the sharpness slightly.

Adjusted levels on the histogram by slightly increasing the black and grey and decreasing the white. Saturation was increased +4, Contrast was increased +4, and Brightness was reduced by -5. Then I ran the Unsharp Mask at 200% and 0.3 radius and finaly I applied NeatImage to the BG at default settings.

First I did use the highlight/shadow option in photoshop to bring back a little more detail in the scale of the dragon and after that smart unsharp masking on lensblur with settings of 150% and 0.7 pixel.

Roe Deer

Unfortunately, I was not prepared at all for these deers - I was trying to shhot a lizard, laying on the ground, on my stomach. They were very fast and I had hardly enought time to point my camera towards them. But still I like the result, but even though quality is awful it is still visible how beautiful these animals are when they run and jump.

This is a beautiful example of what happens to the Grès des Vosges when it is exposed to rain and wind - nature carves the most beautiful patterns in the stone. I was quite amazed the first time I saw this, but in fact it is quite common. I though it was interesting enough to show it here, as stone also belongs to nature...
