 Selective Levels | aido
(4046) [2006-09-03 21:27:53] [4] | | Hi Valerie, I selected around the eye, feathered the selection by 5 pixels and pasted as a new layer (ctrl-C, ctrl-V). I then clicked on the original layer in the layer palette, and used the rectangular marquee tool to select the top half of the image. I feathered the selection by 100 pixels and adjusted with levels until it looked the same as the bottom half, the deselect. At this point the eye is too light, so I selected that layer and adjusted with levels until it blended in. It could be better, I did this in maybe 2 minutes. Hope this is helpful! |

Size of the moth | valy67
(5276) [2006-08-17 03:56:25] | | I was really impressed by the size of this hawkmoth, I had never seen such a big moth before, so I tried to measure it. I posted this photo so you can have an idea of its size. It is measured in centimeters. |
