I liked the look of the shot, it is well done and well-composed. But I thought the grasshopper could be brought out just a bit better. SO I cropped it tighter and increased the contrast. Then I saw some noise (moire, mostly) in the background, so I ran it through a noise filter (I own Noiseware). Finally, I spipped it up with a frame.

When I saw my photo in the gallery, I saw that the Bg was very noisy- it looked better on my monitor before posting, I don't know what happened. So I just used noise reduction on Photoshop, it is much better now ! :-)

I put these two additional picture to show the caterpillar from different angles. It is really a wonderful little thing and I couldn't stop admiring it. I wanted to share with you the happiness I felt by looking at him (or at her?), I hope you will enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them !

Red berries

This is the flower in autumn (I found this one last year in october). These red berries are very poisonous, for humans as well as for animals, they should never be touched. Photo is not of the best quality, sorry.

I wanted to add the photo with my hand in ordre to show you the size of these tadpoles. They were quite slippery and I had difficulties to keep them in my had long enough to take photos.
On the second picture you can see the pond where I found them.

Color balance on water

Just wanted to see if blue water would look better. I did a very quick contour with the lasso, but didn't really made it accurately. I didn't correct either the green cast on the pelican's neck.

Nest in its context

These photos will complete the picture of the eggs I posted this morning. On the first photo you can see the bushes where I found the nest, everything's in blosom it's very beautiful.
On the second photo it is the nest and his direct environment. It was hidden deep inside the bush, and branches were so close to each other that it was difficult to go close enough to the nest.

Like I said in my critique, this is a beutiful shot. I just thought it could use a bit of a rotation and a crop.
