I read Aido's critique and was thinking a bit the same.
Adjusted in levels. Not a lot. Black point in mouth part. And adjusted a bit with centre slider.

zodoende elimineer je de zoo-elementen zoals de houten vloer e.d. en komt het expressieve kopje meer tot uiting.
Heb hem ook een beetje scherper gemaakt in LAB mode.
Rotating it vertically wasn't such a good idea at first sight 'cause the fruit is of course the prove that Newton was a smart fellow.
That said...cropping it a bit does,in my opinion, no bad to the compo and Newton's theory.
Further on..give it bit more contrast and sharpened in LAB mode.
