Sometimes, I find it difficult to decide, whether to post a particular photo: it might be really interesting and informative - but not always so great from the photographic point... For instance, I photographed a Buffalo (just as dawn was breaking) on a sandbank in the Crocodile River. The animal was on its side - like a dog - all for legs stretched out. According to several "experts", this is quite unusual: "Those are interesting pics. Off hand I can not remember seeing a buffalo lying on its side but as they are usually lying in water or reeds it would be an unlikely position. To lie like that on sand bank they must have been happy that there were not lions around." In other words, IS TREKNATURE'S MISSION MAINLY TO EXHIBIT GOOD PHOTOS OR IS INTERESTING INFO EQUALLY WELCOME? Please let me know. Thanks, Kind egards Ingrid

Hi Ingrid Imho TN is for both learning about Nature photography and learning about Nature This said it might even be interesting to post a picture which is not perfect and learn what other people on TN think could be improved. Your buffalo picture is most welcome anyway cheers Tom
