What will be this summer? Or will it be some special summer? : )))
I have really thought about Canon (especially about Canon 1D Mark III). If I have received one project in this spring, I would be solved on such thoughtless in every respect step. But problem is stabilization system and stabilized lenses. I like built in camera stabilization system so much. At macro and tele shooting it is so useful. Canon perfect IS lenses are too expensive. If I was Canadian (or USA, or Europe, or ... ) professor I could afford such purchases but I am only Ukrainian professor.
Now I do not see worthy replacement yet but I have rather cute set of lenses and I will spent a lot of time on wild photography. It is a key point.
