I was leaning towards the 400 when I hear the 300 isn't all that much different from what I have, I'm going to have to save all my pennies for a 400 though...whew.
The swans pretty much hang around all winter down near long point which is about an hour away from here but they come here as soon as our ice starts to thaw and they stay through the carp run, now THATS someting I should try to photograph what a site.
