Yes, the Panasonic has the Leica lens. I was really quite impressed with the landscape photos I took with the Panasonic TZ3 camera. I used both cameras on this trip and comparing the same views from both cameras I couldn't fault it. Some colours were slightly different, but the quality was just as good as the Canon 30D.
It was a lovely day and as we drove down the lakeside to the mountains I just had to keep stopping to take more photos.
