Although one do not perceive hunting to be a possible cause of concern in the protected area of the Kruger National Park, but sadly it still remains a threat, even here. Especially with the dam being build in the Olifants River just outside the Kruger Park, in the Mozambique side of the border, and the evidence clearly show that the presence of poachers coming across the border in their makeshift boats to pounce on whatever they can catch. This unfortunately gives this whole dilemma an international status and one that has far reaching implications.
