I hobbled about the UK with my cane for a few days -- a few days in Leeds, a few more in Bath and finally a few in Bournemouth. The only good thing about it was that I got wheelchair transport iat the airports :-S
I am so glad to have reached the point now where I can walk a little further every day. I'd have been miserable company for anyone how liked to get about places as you do. Perhaps next years I will be back and ready to take on serious challenges :)
