Thanks for the kind words. I can understand that you would not relate this landscape with the Netherlands. It is a special area and there are only few other places that are alike.
I did not use a polarizer, I still need to buy a 105mm CP filter. I used a 0.3 grad ND to balance the sky. The sunlight was nicely filtered by some clouds and most of the light is reflected into my lens from the warm colored sand. This gave the image more warmth.
