Many thanks Ramji for your valuable comments. I was using the programmable autofocus as I mostly do. Without use of flash and with that given light I have got very shaky pictures and so the flash was used to see how they come [I'm not a veteran]. At the end of the day, I am satisfied with what I got. Could not repeat since it flew away after that. I got one more shot with its wings in blurr but its tail sharp in somewhat 'silhouetty' fashion. I'll share it here soon. That's slightly underexposed but worth sharing. I'm not still comfortable with using the aperture priority or aperture priority settings. Since these insects change locations constantly, I just set the knob to "P". I look forward to your tips and I'm going to try them out out of inspiration.
Regards.
