Thanks for your visit. No, it is not plastic. I have a ceramic dish as a feeder for Tui and Silvereye and any other bird that wants a sweet drink of brown sugar and water. The sky was very clear and blue and the sun was shining. The blue is the reflecting blue of the sky in the water and the smooth piece to the front and right is some ice I added to keep the water cool for the birds.
