About the subphylum vertebrata issue, I guess the reason might be that there's a wikipedia copy and paste going on and considering myself there's also a second reason: Being a photographer I'm everything but seasoned in categorising organisms.
I guess that in your opinion the subphylum should be there, Mehmet?
I guess most people including me are not aware of the different subphylums within chordata(the vertebrata not taken into account) as these kind of organisms are less known than the vertebrata. This could be an explanation?
In addition taxonomy is quite complex(I think?) and that's why it so important that in depth specialists as you are, my dear friend Mehmet, are guiding us towards more knowledge. |
