I was just about to reply to you and i saw you already replied to Billy before :)
To answer you question, no, i didn't try any other types of shooting star trails yet.
I had my Windows reinstalled (at least once) since that discussion you were telling Billy about and i actually forgot about that little software...so thanks for reminding me :)
I thought about that method as well but i said to try and shoot one in the "classic" way and see how that turns out first. Next, i want to try one of more than 1 hour, and maybe after that i think i'll have a go on that multiple 30 sec. exposures.
How about you? Did you try any method for star trails? What is your opinion on them?
Anyway, nice hearing from you and hope to see something new fro you soon, too :)
