Hi Serge,
I disagree with you wholeheartedly. To have focused on the eye (which is slightly out of focus, to begin with), I would have lost the irridescent blues of the wings and the contrasting golden feathers of the ear region. In fact, the eye focus would have been a lousy photo. I know that certain people feel they have to make a negative criticism to feel important, but, at least, they should make it an intelligent critique.
