They are Grevilleas this one is called "Honey Gem" and is believed to be a hybrid between G.pteridifolia and G.banksii, both native to Queensland.
We have also planted Grevillea "Robyn Gordon", "Moonlight" and "Scarlet Sprite" the birds love them, my only problem now with the amount of birds coming into the garden and
feeding its atracting a few cats :(
But this one grows to about 4 metres in height by 3 metres wide, with a flush in late winter/spring.
