About Ikaria first. It is not possible to records photos directly on Ikaria island because TN (like TE) site is organized by prefectures. (Limnos for example is on Lesvos prefecture). That is why I must explain in the photo that it is taken on Ikaria.
About Podarcis erhardii, at the entrance of the path of Chalari (municipality of Raches), there is a poster with some species which can be fond in this Natura 2000 area, and Podarcis erhardii noted as "one of the most common lizard species recorded in the valley of Halari". Are you sure that it doen't occurs on Ikaria?
You know, I'm completely ignorant about lizards and that is why I made the mistake. I will correct the ID... and find a good book (possible?) to learn about them! Se xairetw,
