HI Charles,
Simply, the light was coming in at a strong angle from the upper right of the frame (west, I think), and illuminated only the seed heads. The stems and leaves were in darkness. It didn't take much to isolage them (I dropped the mid ranges in LEVELS just a bit). Thanks for asking!
