| Hi Janice, I am a suspicious person and I only eat chanterelles and champignons.... These tree fungis are hard as wood - or even harder. Impossible to eat for anyone, I think. But they are so decorative. I found a piece of a birch some years ago, which was almost covered with such fungis. I carried it home, just because it was so beautiful . I put it on the terrass, as it was rather wet (we have a very rainy climate where I live), to let it dry a bit. But my husband threw it away, because he suspected that we should get fungis in the house if I took it indoors. I became rather sad, because I intended to keep it on the terrass.... Yes, I will take some more pics of it, and zoom it much more, it is just a few meters from my home... |
