Peter:
Good to hear from you, as always. I've been using 35mm SLR cameras for a long time, and bought the Nikon CP4500 as a tool for work. It's not entirely fair to compare it with the rest of the "Coolpix" range - it is a metal-bodied camera with full creative manual overide of all settings and excellent close focus. However, it is still a compact and a few years old now. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do in 2006 with a D200 SLR. I have waited a long time for Nikon to produce a digital SLR that I was prepared to buy - finally, they've produced it. But you're right - I do "take" the photograph in my head before raising the camera - but I learned it all with a fully manual SLR (that I still use).
Hey, and we've got a lot more open-minded about relationships in the last few decades ;)
Take care, Nigel. |
