Hi Brian,
I took this shot at around midday which you know is just about the worse time as regards harsh shadows. I tried adjusting exposure with MS photo premium but I did not like the outcome. I have installed photoshop but I still have to get to grips with its complexity.
Thanks for your advice and I shall try to apply what you suggested to the image I saved.
