Hi Jose

Thank you very much for your comments.

I was hoping one of you divers do give a critique on this photo and I am happy that you are pleased with it.

This is much the same with me taking photos of animals in the wild and comparing it to zoo photos. That is why I probably will never upload any zoo photos for species that I can shoot/encounter in the wild. However, exotic species or animals I could/would not find in the wild I do not have a problem with to upload.

I have much respect for you underwater divers/photographers. I know how difficult it was taking this photo in the relative controlled environment of the aquarium so, I take my hat off for you people who can do this in the real ocean. There are so many disadvantages you have in the ocean. The lighting, murkiness of the water, approachability of the subject, no tri-pod, and the fish could just swim away etc. At least in the aquarium you know the fish is still there even though it might have gone behind a rock or a plant. A little bit of patience and you know it will return.

This little zoo trip of mine has given me some new insights and I did enjoy it to once have an abundance of subjects to photograph. I do not say any zoo photo is easier or less acceptable though. There is a place for both types of photographs and the one supplement the other.
