Dear Evelynn, just to answer to your question, first we considered to walk from the end of the Pass Valley which can be reached by a 4 wheel drive car to Apahapsili. But we also got the opportunity, this is usually not the case, to be transported by a Cessna from Wamena. The flight over the mountains gave us a small overview of the area: really huge forest and sometimes remote small embedded settlements consisting of a few huts only. It was very impressive. For sure, the walk would have been also impressive - in close touch to nature. This, we had, however also in the surrounding of Apahapsili and further sites in West-Papua.
