Hi there Janice,

Thanks for your nice words! I believe the farmers collect most of the qiviut which drops to the ground after the musk oxen molted.

The horns of a buffalo and a musk ox are very different and so are the shape of the heads. Radu posted a picture of an Alaskan buffalo HERE. Can you see the difference now?
