yes, I'm back, the weather turned cold and rainy, so I'm not out shooting all the time!
Also I had to stop due to acute lack of camera. My 20D is being repaired; probably the shutter - apparently the spare parts they need are not delivered by Canon for the time being :(
The borrowed 350D my shop has kindly provided me with had developed a complete electronic failure not curable by reset (It was a brandnew cam, nothing happened, it just decided to die on me!). Luckily for me it developed the strange symptoms AFTER the photo shooting in an animal park I had arranged with a friend.
The two consecutive camera failures had me paranoid for my next holidays, so I decided I definetely needed a second camera, and I decided on the "upgrad"e, the 30D.
Then the 30D apparently could not be delivered by Canon ... endless story ...
But the Canon guy finally came out with the fact that they just could not deliver the body+kit lense package, "just" the body was no problem. As the kit-lense does not interest me, I now am again with camera.
Ahhhh ... this feels SOOOO good ... and yes, I am currently considering to join the cameraholics anonymous ;-)
