As for the exposure, I always underexpose my pictures by one step. This is because I don't want any overexposures on my photos. That makes them darker of course and I could make them bright in postprocessing, but I don't really like to do that. I guess I prefer them darker.
Hope you will be happy with the lens when you will buy it at last ;-)
