Hi Gerhardt,
Focal distance was the full 300mm, and this is a crop showing about 50% of the frame. It was hanging a bit higher than expected, so the tips of the wings are missing in the full frame. On the other hand it was sharp, so I decided to crop even closer ;-))
I have anonther one on TE which is about just as close, only that one is a good example why you should use exposure compensation when shooting white birds..
