Hi Rob, This was the first time I saw one of these. He was about 1 metre long; they tell me he was a baby, they get to be two metres. What I didn't show was the shot where he turned towards me. It was a bit of a blur, but now I'm looking for one of the bigger ones.
Keep getting those shots of eastern Ontario. I lived in that area for a little better than 20 years. It's beautiful country with decent wildlife.
