I dont say Canon is bad, in fact if my Sony died I would go for a S2-IS or a S3-IS for sure... What I say is that nowadays with a good compact and some good accesories like the Rainox lens you have, wonderful, easier, cheaper and more confortable results are obtained.
A Ferrari is not a bad car, but you must be a very good driver to run fast with it, you know waht I mean? :D
