As I said this is a very small crop (no resize), and as you noticed I had to use noise reduction for the BG. But the details in the eyes were already missing in the original shot, as the DOF was too short. This is a very small subject and I am afraid I reached the limit of my equipment. This was a very colaborative subject and made a lot of shots, and I had to choose between small aperture and aceptable details (this shot) ot wider aperture but less details.
In fact DOF range was so small that eyes contours were already blured, I had to made a small reconstruction with a mask to recover the delimited contour which was already quite mixed with background, but please dont tell anybody ;)
