Dear Peter.
I think, that you are more right. The description of the Melanargia russiae in Russian-speaking sources does not corresponds at some details to butterfly pictured by me. Moreover, I have found out, that these butterflies almost do not meet in Ukraine. At the same time Melanargia galathea is widely widespread in the south of Ukraine. Hardly later I shall modify my note once more.
