It is great to hear from you again now that you are out of hospital and all seems to be fine again.
You mention a very interesting thing. Before I got involved with macro photography I hardly ever noticed how much butterflies we have fluttering around in our area. It is amazing how we fail to see all the beauty surrounding us when we're not tuned in to it. It just showed me once again that it is all in the attitude. If one cares enough to look you will see plenty and the more one appreciates it, the more one becomes aware of it.
