You asked me if it is a handheld shot: it is a handheld one. Almost all images I posted here are handheld. Except the one or two landscape or fungi ones. Most of the images are taken with the same lens with an image stabilizer.
It is much more flexible doing so. Of course when you have a hide or something like that, I should use a tripod. Besides it is always better to use a heavy tripod if possible IMO.
