I think I can be hold as a pet in some parts of the world. I believe however it is forbidden to import them in the U.S. and Canada and some other countries...as they could do a lot of damage. Forgotten in what respect though (agriculture, other animals)...and information has to be verified. Again. Could be the meerkat as well:-)
