Thanks for sharing the knowledge you have. I read all the others critiques but they did not tel me what could be improved upon. In short if I understand you corretcly with mughshots like these:
1) Glancing from left to right into open space usually works better.
2) More detail on the eye, the accent of the mugshot should be the eye.
3) Magic light on the subject.
