Thanks for the visit and kind comments.

You are quite right in your thinking about using a higher ISO setting without the fill-in flash as it would result in a much better light spectrum and colour tone. However, the problem remains with the movements of the fish, for they hardly ever seem to stop or stay still for a moment, and this would result in the soft details you experienced.
