The white below is snow and the bigger blocks in the bG is ice.
It was upcoming tide by the time I took this shot and the wind was blowing in my face, so what you also see in the BG is the water of Katchemak Bay splashing against the ice blocks.
The distance between me and the eagle was around 20 yards.
