Hello Pieter

Many thanks for your comments. The whites are the hardest to capture that's for sure. I have many images of a variety of really nice birds and animals that have the whites overexposed far too much and therefore have not made it to TN. I am extremely new to photography and have had two point and shoot digi cams, Canon A60 and a Minolta dIMAGE Z2. I loved them both as they were so easy to use and the photos were perfect every time, but then I wasn't taking photos of the subjects I do now. My husband bought me a Canon 10D a few months ago and wow, what a learning curve. I still struggle with shutter sppeds and apature settings. Never know which setting is correct for the image I want to take, especially in low light, but I continue to prectise and less and less are going to the recycle bin. That's enough rambling from me.

Regards

Pam
