Thanks Howard I really appreciate your kind words as well as your considerate and thoughtful contribution to this posting. Seeing that the subject is about "Tips & Techniques" it seemed only logical to include the links that explained the use of the histogram. It has helped me tremendously to improve my aquarium photography specifically and of course any other photography in general. Almost 1½ years after I obtained my dSLR I still could not find anybody to explain to me the use or the reason for the histogram. Sure I never asked the question here on TREKNature, but I've asked many people in person and never received a satisfactory or complete explanatory reply. If I was able to assist just one member to understand and to successfully make use of the histogram and the blinkies I would deem my efforts fruitful and useful. Take care and keep well.
