smaller than an alligator, too. It is not dark, like alligators. It was very cute and I held its tail and touched it (it was a she, btw) but of course I did not put my hand in the yaws.
It was easy to catch with a lamp in the eyes, which make it blind for a moment. (If you are used to it, that is. I mean, the local guides cought it, to amuse us tourists...) |
