About Notes... Porteplume Silver Star Critiquer/Silver Note Writer [C: 24 W: 0 N: 12] (78)::2011-12-03 8:37
Bonjour to all of you,

A large number of images have been posted recently where members are deliberately breaking the rules on notes. One example is the deliberate 'padding' of notes by repeating non-alphabetic keyboard characters.
In future, any such image noticed by the moderators will be removed and will not be re-instated under any circumstances.

For those in any doubt - this is the relevant section from the Terms of Service (TOS)

"All photos must contain a note of a minimum of 40 characters in order to be uploaded. Only meaningful notes will be considered, so please do not try to get around the issue by posting nonsense such as " fhgdfhd rthdfjgbnd fgjkfk". The following other nonsensical notes will also be deemed inappropriate: using your camera description/ exif data as a note, clicking the space bar until you have reached 40 characters, repeating the same words or partial phrases over and over e.g.: "this is a flower this is a flower" and finally: notes that merely describe the obvious, e.g. : " this is a man standing in front of a church".Notes that fit any of the above criteria may be subject to deletion by our moderators."

Kind regards - Viviane / TrekNature Moderation Team

I am a new member and I am confused.

I recd an email that I missed a note. I was of the opinion it was not a must but that is my mistake.
I wrote an explanation in answer to the given thread and I am unable to dispatch it - as I get a note saying - Invalid insert - Query 55 - and here is my explanation in case my return email didnt arrive.
"I wrote an explanation but are unable to dispatch it - I receive the following message Invalid insert_query55 . My explanation is as follows
"Shiva's Pond is on our own property done by beavers.
The pond is home to lots of geese, ducks, different birds like Kingfisher and of course, the beaver couple. We love to sit at the pond and see "Nature" at its best. I feel strongly that the pic belongs to TrekNature. Sorry, I caused a problem. - Monika"

I checked the mentioned TrekLens only to see there lots of Nature pics and Landscape ones, the same kind I see in this Trek. I dont understand why a Mountain side with snow is more "Nature" than an animal-built pond thats habitat to sooo many creatures.
I will delete my two pics here and see if I have better luck at TrekLens.
