Just a theme to collect all of my Early Purple Orchids together in one place.

I thought that I would put together my own collection of sunsets and sunrises pictures because I have so many of them... Currently they account for 30 of the 161 photos I have posted.

A couple of trees that have caught my attention whilst out and about.

Thought I would setup a theme for light and rays of light because the rays of light is something I see a lot of in the mountains...

The tree out of the study window. Recorded through the various seasons and weather conditions that life throws at it.

It is an Oak tree, growing by itself in the middle of a farmers field. It is only visible from the 1st floor study becuase of a rise in the land between it and my home.

It faces east from my home, so mostly gets sunrises, but on rare occasions when an sunset is very vivid, it is possible to photo it in the evening against a varied sky.
