Flamingo's both Lesser & Greater have been flocking to Sewree in Mumbai for many years. They are accompanied by a million waders, Gulls & terns. Predators like the Peregine & Lugger Falcon's, Ospreys & others do their rounds. We had a little scare last year as only about 300 Lesser flamingo's turned up instead of the usual 30K plus .I hope this flame burns eternally providing joy to the many who visit.

India has many species mostly harmless.
The Krait being the most poisonous drop for drop of venom. While the King cobra has the most quantity.
I find snakes to be extremaly beautiful & amazing animals.Mesmerizing in movement.
I always photograph snakes with my friend Dr. Leon Pereira without whose help this would have been very difficult. A couple of years ago Leon was bitten by a Cobra but thankfully to the antivenom vaccine that was administered quickly it was a happy ending.
