Lake County Forest Preserves located in the North-East of Illinois stretching to the Wisconsin border with over 26.200 acres and still growing of peaceful and natural areas some are dedicated to rare and endangered species of wildlife, fauna and flora of Illinois protected by law.
Many restorations are under way thanks to Lake County (Lake County F.P.)
Open to the public for recreational purposes also such as fishing, wintersports, hiking, biking, horse back riding swimming and many more. |
