The Honduran Emerald Hummingbird is the most endangered bird in Central America as well as being the only endemic bird of Honduras. There are around 200 of these lovely birds left Thorn Forests along the Aguan Valley, near Olancito, Honduras. A Nature Reserve for these Honduran Emeralds is being built.
