 Puffin (26) alguazul
(713) | It is the time when atlantic puffins return to their homeland, a universe of dark rocks, yellowish lichens and white spots of faeces made of marine salts. (Remember, puffin, that you are salt and unto salt you shall return). The face, like that of a sad clown, puts a small note of colour that contrasts with the elegant black and white dominants of guillemots and razorbills, their neighbours. This one was facing the sea, its true home, when turned the head for a short while as it noticed my presence.
Taken with a Nikon D200 camera, Sigma 80-400 lens+1,4x, no tripod, OS activated. ISO 400 |
