"Hi, grandpa, how you doin'? Can I stay on here, if you don't mind? It's cool up here.
"Aw! Don't keep on shooting that awful light at me! It hurts the eye."
"Sorry, little one; just one more and I'd be off, promise."
Here is the second and perhaps the last image of this baby Gecko I am posting today.
My intention was to capture the expression in the eyes of this little fellow. These eyes may not be all that eloquent, but they do convey a degree of trust this newly born creature seemed to have in me.
Well I haven't seen it again in the last four days though its mother (presumably) was there in the kitchen this morning and scampered away pretty fast to her lair behind the shelf. And it looked slimmer; maybe I'm right in presuming she is the mother and is now rid of her burdens.
