Egretta garzetta. It lives in marshes, shallow fresh and coastal waters, usually breeding in trees and near water. Here, in lake Kerkini's western shore. The lake was formed in 1932, when a dam was built on Strymon river. It is the wildlife-richest habitat in Greece and one of the ten water-reserves protected by Ramsar Treaty.

I cropped the forth Egret from the image. Now my eye is focused on the three and not being pulled to the bird on the right.
