I cropped the original close to the subject, then twice converted to greyscale; first utilizing the red channel, then the green one, finished by merging the two and making a small adjustment with the tonal levels.
Result: 2 faces of the same flower.
Notice how the green channel (right hand side) includes details of the background foliage, whilst the red channel blackened it. |
